The Catholic Men Organisation (CMO) of St. Anthony’s Parish, Ogbaga Nkaleke, Ebonyi State, has honoured Chief Tochukwu Ogalagu, popularly known as T-Man, with an award and recognition as the Mayor of the Catholic Men Organisation.
The honour, presented at the parish on October 4, 2026, was in recognition of Ogalagu’s service to humanity, support for the Church and commitment to assisting the less privileged.
Speaking at the presentation, the Parish Priest described Ogalagu as a Christian who had demonstrated a strong commitment to the Church and maintained a close relationship with members of the community.
The priest said the recognition reflected Ogalagu’s contributions to the Church and society, particularly his support for humanitarian causes.
According to the cleric, the award was an acknowledgement of the importance of selfless service, noting that genuine commitment to humanity deserved recognition.
The presentation was organised by the Catholic Men Organisation of St. Anthony’s Parish, Ogbaga Nkaleke, which formally recognised Ogalagu with the title of Mayor of the CMO.
The honour adds to the parish's recognition of individuals whose contributions, according to the organisers, reflect the Christian values of service, charity and commitment to the welfare of others.
The ceremony concluded with congratulations to the award recipient from members of the Catholic community.
