The Executive Chairman of Ivo Local Government Area of Ebonyi State, Chief Onyebuchi Ogbadu on Friday bagged a new chieftaincy title as the Ome Udo I of Ishiagu Kingdom.
The event held at the palace of HRH Eze GU Okoro, the Odu II of Ihie Autonomous Community in Ivo Local Government Area was a full of joy and pageantries.
The community people who turned out in their large numbers followed the Chairman with a solidarity song from the traditional ruler's palace to the LG headquarters, where they had merry with him after exchanging pleasantries.
Chief Ogbadu thanked the community people for the honour and assured them of more robust treatment in his administration.
He urged the people to continue to be law abiding citizens in the area, noting that his administration is committed to step down the policies and programmes of the state government under the watch of Governor David Umahi to the council.
Felicitating with Chief Ogbadu, the Youths Leader, Ohanaeze Ndigbo Worldwide, Engr. Damian Okafor described the new chieftaincy title to him as a well deserved one.
He wished him God's guidance and protection as he continues to win more honours and awards of excellence while in office and beyond.
