The Executive Chairman of Ebonyi Local Government Area of Ebonyi State, Chief Mrs Chinyere Nwogbaga has felicitated with the good people of her Council, Ebonyi State and Nigeria at large on this year's occasion of 25th and 61st Independence Anniversary respectively.
Monday Oketa, the Media Assistant to the Chairman forwarded this to the NATIONAL PANEL on Friday.
Nwogbaga in her independence message congratulated the founding fathers of Ebonyi State, the sitting Governor, Chief David Nweze Umahi, other government functionaries and all the citizens for their contributions for the growth and development of the state.
"May I sieze this ample opportunity of this wonderful celebration to congratulate the founding fathers of Ebonyi State, the incubent Governor of Ebonyi State, Engr Chief David Nweze Umahi, the first Lady and soccour giver, Chief Mrs Rachael Umahi, deputy Governor and wife, Rt. Hon. Speaker and wife, the entire People of Ebonyi LG council and the good people of Nigeria at large for the celebration of our state and nation's Independence anniversary at 25 and 61 respectively," Nwogbaga said.
She prayed that the celebration would bring peace, understanding and harmonious relationship among religions, ethnicities and political parties for the development of the state and nation as well.
The Chiarman equally congratulated the state government led by Governor David Umahi for his relentless efforts in lifting the state high above contemporaries both in capital development and infrastructural facelifts of the State.
"Congratulations to all Ebonyians as we celebrate the existence of Ebonyi State at 25 years of uninterrupted democracy and massive development at all levels," she concluded.
