Mr Chukwu who particularly commended Governor Umahi for the pace of work expressed hope that the May dateline for the commencement of flight operations in the Airport would come to fruition.
"Nigeria Civil Aviation Authority sets the standard for Airport construction in Nigeria, we have been working with the Ebonyi State Government and they have been keeping to standard and they have been following our requirements, we are satisfied.
"The Governor has told us that before the end of May or June, there will be initial flight operations here and we want to welcome that, he has promised he will achieve what he has sustained and we are believing him, after all, we know now that the world is waiting because he is somebody in the waiting.
"The rigid pavement is the first of its kind that we are seeing around here but the quality of what is happening here is phenomenal, the drainage is unique, wonderful, what we are seeing here is good and we are saying Governor keep it up."
He encouraged Governor Umahi to keep facilitating the project in speed and quality to safeguard a better future for Ebonyi Citizens even as he aims to escalate his developmental acumen to the development of the entire Nigeria.
