*Let me go straight to the point and if people don't mind, let them watch with me the basic nature of politics in Nigeria since independence.*
*Now if what I read online was true from APC'S grapevine, the issue of zoning the seat of the Presidency to the South of Nigeria is settled once for all, in a better and wiser mental fashion. No probability anymore.*
*It means that APC is now focused toward the South of Nigeria in view of the individual, sectional, zonal and group agitations, aspirations, need, pressure, desires and interest for the South to produce the next President of Nigeria come 2023.*
*The mathematics is simple with the two Nigerian regions sharing the constitutional 8 year provision for the seat of the President, the North with 2015 to 2023. and the South to start up in 2023 to 2030.*
*This time it is shifted to the South region with the three existing zones, to organize the best way to get the seat at the Presidency in 2023.*
*APC is the ruling political party in Nigeria for now and so far so hectic all the while, having inherited much human management crisis around since inception from 2015 to 2022.*
*Now the simple sum is that APC has passed through turbulent times for seven years plus, and it is going to be the turn of the South to come and do their best if possible in 2023 and beyond, all things being equal.*
*For now nobody knows what PDP will do in their own case of zoning, but somehow it may or may not be like what APC has tactically done.*
*However, for APC to zone the seat of the Presidency to the South, the party has given out three serious chemical mixtures for the region to blend and produce one product.*
*The chemical compounds in the region contains the South South, the Southeast and the Southwest of Nigeria, with well qualified number of seasoned brains to compete with themselves for that high position.*
*That is where the problem needs a solution and, for the three chemical compounds to blend and settle for one product presentation, it will be a herculean task that must be done very fast and before 2023 arrives.*
*We should be reminded that the task is to pull together the whole country into a political agreement, produce one person for the seat of the President of Nigeria in 2023.*
*Another one is for the APC to succeed in 2023 and to retain central power in the country.*
*The North did their own turn for the Party in 2015 and the South is now to do likewise, and prove their worth with Nigeria's mega polity.*
*I am foreseeing a kind of political Osmosis within the three zones of the Southern Nigerian hemisphere, boiling down to one major side that has the stronger basic solution.*
*We should also be reminded that the North has no more hassles, by handing over the problem of the Presidency to the South to solve from the APC angle and to produce a befitting result that is creditable.*
*The outcome is the basic thing they are now quietly and wisely waiting for, so that nobody will blame the North for always trying to usurp power to themselves.*
*The APC in the North is no longer bothered about the Presidency issue, but the South is to bother about it within the region including the PDP families in the country.*
*If eventually PDP zones the ticket for the Presidency to the North, all well and good to the same North.*
*And if PDP zones it to the South, then the risk is that the South will be divided against themselves.*
*And if the South is divided against themselves then their kingdom will fall, while the North is no longer to blame and anything can happen.*
*The APC must have viewed what had been troubling them in terms of Insecurity, the cost of carrying the whole load of the country and the dragging for the Presidency, with all the high tensions in it and saw they can allow the more agitative South as a whole to decide the journey.*
*Now the final calculation in the APC North is that if the South fails, it becomes the fault of the South.*
*The ruling Party knows that the South is eager to become President of Nigeria in 2023, and so let it be if the South can afford it but if not the only option is to create a brand new Chart for an unpredictable level.*
*We shall all be alive still seeing the sky by 2023 and perhaps before then, there will be other things that could be going on to make Nigeria become a politically reliable global environment for a secure sojourn.*
