The Executive Chairman of Abakaliki Local Government Area, Hon Stephen Ebere Nwogba has extolled the Ebonyi State Governor, Engr David Nweze Umahi for his leadership strides in the state.
He said the developmental gaits of the governor are scattered across all the nooks and crannies of the Ebonyi State.
The Council boss stated this while addressing newsmen, as part of the activities marking this year's independence day celebration in Abakaliki, the Ebonyi State capital.
The Chairman who described the Governor's leadership giant styles as second to none since the creation of the State observed that the Governor has performed beyond his campaign promises within years and some months in office, especially in the area of infrastructures and empowerment of over thirty thousand Ebonyians as well as his marvellous works in all sectors which have placed the State as the economic hub of the Nation.
According to the chairman " Ebonyians have every reason to celebrate independence and every reason to celebrate this present administration going by the developmental projects and human capacity building the Governor had put on the ground"
He called on Ebonyians to continue being supportive of the present administration to attract more dividends of democracy in their areas while calling Nigerians, especially youths to massively engage themselves in agricultural activities to diversify the Nation's economy, adding that agriculture remains the best means of survival in humans life.
He enjoined the people of the State to always be appreciative of the State Governor for his wonderful performances and advised them to vote massively for the All Progressive Congress (APC) candidates in the State to enable the party sweeps all positions come 2023 general elections.
