The executive and members of the Sports Writers Association of Nigeria SWAN, South East Zone have felicitated Chief Anyansi Agwu on his election as the 1st Vice President of the Nigeria Football Federation, NFF.
In a congratulatory note signed by Chigozie Chukwuleta - the VP SWAN South East and Ijeoma Peter Nwante - the Zonal Secretary, "SWAN South East Zone under the leadership of Ms Chigozie Chukwuleta (VP South East) joins many Nigerians and particularly our South East football fraternity to rejoice with our own as we are without doubt that he will bring his wealth of experience in charting a new and good course for Nigerian Football."
The sports writers body, however, urged "the Enyimba Int'l FC of Aba Chairman and the new NFF Board members under the leadership of Alhaji Ibrahim Gusau on the need to unite the Nigerian football family and drive new and positive innovations that will take Nigerian football to greater heights."
