The Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Tycoon Group of Companies in Ebonyi, Dr Okpala Benson has celebrated Christmas with Persons With Disabilities, PWDs, less privileged people as well as widows in the state.
The Chief Executive Officer Also distributed bags of rice, phantom wrappers, and undisclosed cash among others to the people.
The CEO performed the ceremony during an annual disabled and less privileged party held at Tycoon hotel Abakaliki, the State Capital.

Speaking during the event, the chief executive officer of the company who was deeply overjoyed, thanked God for his marvellous work in their lives by allowing them to survive all the travail situations of the year and hope for greater achievements as they enter 2023.
He noted his sole aim to celebrate with the people was to give them a sense of belongings and also to complement the work of the executive Governor of the Ebonyi State Engr. David Unahi in his usual manner of catering for the well-being of Ebonyi people, especially the needy.
However, he commended Governor Umahi for his wonderful performances and for creating an enabling environment for businesses to strive in the State.
He said the company had over the year been into the programme and other social investment programmes in the State, both human capacity building and direct small-scale establishment.
According to him, the Company had discharged over Twenty indigent patients from both private and public health facilities, and awarded scholarships to over ten secondary school students, adding that one person has graduated from university while one person recently gained admission.
He further disclosed the preparedness of the company to commence a destitute home project in the State with the sole aim of providing skill acquisitions for the disabled and the less privileged persons and enjoined friends and well-wishers to key into the project as soon as it kicked off.
Earlier in a sermon, the priest in charge of Christ Church Ugwuachara Rev. Canon Ezenwata advised the people to hold unto God firmly and shun worrying themselves as God could change the life of everyone who is in despair for good no matter the circumstances.
He called on well-spirited individuals and the Government at all levels to emulate the philanthropic disposition of the Tycoon CEO group of companies to make society better for the needy.
Some of the beneficiaries including Mrs Chinyere Nwamini, and Blessing Alexander among others, extolled the benefactor for the kind gesture and prayed to God to replenish him accordingly.
Highlights of the event were the distribution of bags of rice, phantom wrappers, and undisclosed cash to the widows by the benefactor.
