The Governor of Ebonyi State, Engineer David Nweze Umahi has extolled the Executive Chairman of Abakaliki Local Government Council, Hon. Stephen Ebere Nwogba for his massive mobilisation during the statewide local government rally of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the area.
Addressing the mammoth crowd during the APC rally at Nkwegu Primary School in Abakaliki Council Area, Umahi called on every citizen of Ebonyi State to vote for Nwifuru and other candidates of the party in the forthcoming elections.
The governor explained that the APC has become a main party in Ebonyi State because of its distinctive manner of advocating good governance, equity, consolidation and continuity.
On his part, the Abakaliki Council Chairman, Hon. Stephen Ebere Nwogba applauded Governor Umahi for the phenomenal development of his administration in the council area and Ebonyi State at large.
He further poured unrestrained encomiums for his unflinching support and show of love to the people of Ebonyi State and promised to always emulate his footsteps while in office.
He assured of 100 per cent votes in the forthcoming general elections in the Abakaliki council area, stressing that the council people have always occupied the first position in everything they do.
Also speaking, some stakeholders of Abakaliki Local Government Area including the APC Senatorial Candidate, Barr. Onyekachi Nwebonyi, the Abakaliki/Izzi Federal Constituency, Hon. Emma Uguru, the Chairman of Divine Mandate Campaign Council Women Wing, Mrs. Virginia Oketa, the National President of Izzi Nnodo Youth Forum, Hon. Comrade Ben Nwovu and the former House of Assembly member, Hon. Mrs Helen Nwobashi, among others, expressed their readiness to deliver the APC at the 2023 polls.
