Ebonyi State governor-elect, Rt Hon Francis Ogbonna Nwifuru has promised to run an all-inclusive government following his victory on Saturday, March 18 gubernatorial election.
Nwifuru, the two-term serving Speaker of Ebonyi State House of Assembly, made the promise on Wednesday while welcoming the State Labour Party leadership at his official residence in Abakaliki.
He expressed joy over the unwavering support of the Ebonyi citizens cutting across political lines during the election and however, assured to be 'the governor of all.'
Hear him: "So glad to have welcomed the State Labour Party leadership, yesterday, to my official residence. They were on hand to congratulate me on our victory at the Guber polls.
"As Governor, I’ll work with them because they supported me. I am not going to be a Governor of one or two persons. I’ll be Governor for all because the people’s taxes that I’ll manage is for everyone. I know that managing failure is easier than managing success, but I’ll make Ebonyians proud.
"Thank you, my people."
