Hon Stephen Ebere Nwogba, the Executive Chairman of the Abakaliki Local Government Area of Ebonyi State says that Governor David Nweze Umahi has broken the Guinness Book of Records on leadership innovation and transformation.
The Council Boss stated this in his goodwill message in honour of Governor Umahi's civic reception by the people of Ebonyi North and Central Senatorial District on Saturday.
Nwogba on behalf of his family, the stakeholders, principal officers and the good people of Abakaliki Local Government Area of the State expressed his joy as he joined other well-meaning Ebonyians in honouring the grand civic reception of Governor Umahi, the 2023 Senator-elect for Ebonyi South Senatorial Zone.
He described Governor Umahi as the Father of Equity and Grandmaster of Infrastructure in Ebonyi State.
The Abakaliki Council Boss in his further appreciation to Umahi, the Chairman of the Southeast Governors Forum described his civic reception as a very apt and significant event, saying that the governor has made Ebonyians proud, for having demonstrated his passion and commitment to the development of the state,
The goodwill message by the Chairman read in parts: "Your Excellency, there is no doubt that your name has been written with a golden pen in the Guinness records, as one of the most innovative and transformational leaders in this 21st Century, because you have passionately transformed Ebonyi State to the level of international recognition.
"Your remarkable footprints, especially in the area of infrastructure, security, workers' welfare, human capital development, peace-building advocacy and your stand for equity, justice and fairness, will always distinguish you as a father of new Ebonyi and an unbeatable leader in Ebonyi State and Nigeria at large.
"As we celebrate your creative ingenuity, resourcefulness dexterity, and frugality in managing the affairs of the people in the state, we also wish to say thank you so much for your show of love, while wishing you and your entire family well as you will soon be moving to the upper chamber of the National Assembly Abuja, to showcase the hidden treasure in you to the entire Nigerians.
"Once again, congratulations."
