Among the confirmed commissioners are Senator Ayogu Eze (Enugu), Peter Opara (Imo), Hauwa Umar Aliyu (Jigawa), Rakiya Tanko Ayuba-Haruna (Kebbi), Ismail Mohammed Agaka (Kwara) and Kolawole Daniel Abimbola (Oyo).

Senate, during its plenary, Wednesday, earlier considered the motion raised by Senator Gershom Bassey, standing in for Senator Olubunmi Adetunmbi, for the senate to receive and consider the report of the Committee on National Planning and Economic Affairs on the confirmation of the nominations of the listed persons as Federal Commissioners for RMAFC.
Senator Ibrahim Hassan Hadejia seconded Gershom’s motion and then preceded to lay and present the report on the floor of the Senate.
The Senate later dissolved into a Committee of the Whole to consider the report.
Senate reverted to Plenary to report progress, following which it announced the confirmation of the six new federal commissioners of the RMAFC. - Oracle Today.
