Media political warning to the South Of Nigeria over partisan squabbles, Lawrence Egede writes.
Some powerful Politicians of the North, especially in the APC knew the reason for allowing the South of Nigeria to produce the President of the country now.
Except for some members of a few other political parties, they may have decided to shift everything to the South of Nigeria through APC for a purpose only known to them.
Wisdom reveals that they may not want what they had in mind to elude them at this early hour.
They could be gathering some momentum, to make sure there's no twist somewhere but if there's any, something else is possible.
If this instinct is true, then the Politicians from the South must belt up now and do themselves good with wisdom right away.
The high level of controversies that the few powerful Northern Politicians have ignited today, between the Politicians from the South is unbelievably tough, but God is always in control.
There is a foresight here on why the whole Politicians from the South must unite together. It is a domestic responsibility that they must bear today for tomorrow.
They can call themselves a "COALITION OF SOUTHERN POLITICIANS AND ELITES."
Let the whole Politicians in the South of Nigeria unite together now. Let them seize the golden opportunity, the privilege, the attraction they have nationwide and the pearl advantage gained, to forge ahead with wisdom.
If the Politicians from the South know how attractive they are, there should be no political bickering against each other and no division, no abuses and no hatred should be promoted amongst the political leaders.
There are cogent reasons for it and necessary to copy from the silent exemplary unity of the old Northern Politicians, especially when it comes to the domestic area of collective sympathy and political considerations for one another.
Talking about political parties, partisan politics, politicians and personalities, politics is politics, other things notwithstanding, but to destroy a common house of sojourn should be out of it.
Assuming anything happens, which needs the unity of the Politicians from the South to fight, work and tackle together, how do they go about it and win the battle or solve the common problems?
Assuming the Courts or the Tribunals decide and rule that INEC should cancel the 2023 Presidential election, what next can the South do without being together?
Assuming the Courts also disqualify the most delicate, troublesome and controversial party flag bearers as they may term it including the APC, how will the South go into rescuing themselves together, survive it in unity and politically become free and resurface nationally?
Or having in mind that APC and any other political party gained the political upper hand in the South, but the poison in the Presidential gift took over the mentality of some Politicians in the South, who will bail the cat out of the bag of such trouble?
And seeing that some of the Politicians are at the same time tempted, lured and trapped in the political squabble secretly engineered by the underground plotters, what will be the fate of those who have been affected assuming the worst comes?
Again, if in the process they found themselves in trouble because of not being united, due to the effect of the poison in the Presidential election hot cake, how will the South come together in unity and find the antidote?
Meantime, three men are quarrelling over the Presidential seat and about the election of one of them BOLA TINUBU, who if God is interested, backs it, approves it and permits it, not just the Courts or Tribunal, may be sworn in as the next President of Nigeria from the APC South family.
The Politicians of the South in Nigeria know that if they should continue to fight against each other over the Presidential seat and eliminate themselves in the APC platform from the political ring of the Presidency, then the South stands to lose efficacy.
And if for any reason the LP also from the South loses the Presidential opportunity, it will likely be ATIKU that will take the Presidential seat, based on the Northern advantage he gained.
I mean that if TINUBU of the APC and Peter Obi of the LP all from the South did not make it to the Trial Courts or Tribunal, it means that the South has lost out in the bid to become the next President of Nigeria.
ATIKU has not withdrawn his interest and has not opted out of the battlefield. He is still in the fight to become the nation's number one Citizen if possible.
Presently he is the only Presidential hope in PDP from the North, while others are quiet for a while to know what is next.
But here in the South, there is too much noisemaking, much bickering and more hate speeches flying about against one another, because of mere politics. There is unnecessary pride also involved in making it worse.
The boasting, the arrogance and the heady attitude of some Politicians from the South, also make them forget that something could upturn all the bragging and brooding over the political everything possible.
Let the whole Politicians from the South not relax yet, as if all is well already no matter their political party, especially the members of APC.
Let them not behave aloof of what could be fishy, rejoicing over individual or little group advantage, in the ongoings about the politics of Nigeria.
So long as the South seems to feature more prominently in the political scene, let them know the value of brotherhood and the power of the grace of God.
The biblical book of Saint Luke chapter 10 verse 20 sighted where Jesus Christ said to his Apostles: "Notwithstanding in this rejoice not, that the spirits are subject unto you; but rather rejoice because your names are written in heaven."
Let them never think that the gigantic political seat of the nation's President, and of the Senate President and the other ones that the South may dictate the pace will come easily and hitch-free, without some secret plots elsewhere on how to stall it.
In the mathematics of nature, no man can tell the method that can come up and turn the table, but if watched closely there is a working pattern with which the answer openly comes out.
Upon all the political tricks and manoeuvres, the mathematics of nature seemed to have favoured the South. It seems the South has got the upper hand this time, but like a fuel bomb, they must watch it out closely.
Just watch it by looking at the disputed victory of TINUBU of the APC, the Tribunal case with Peter Obi from the South and the declaration of BOLA TINUBU as the winner of the 2023 Presidential election.
Now the counterclaim by the Labour Party, that Peter Obi won the Presidential election is like a fire of an explosive, which turned into an argument within the South talking about one seat.
But still, it is all for good if the Politicians from the South will quickly turn around, unite and tackle the problem together.
Even with the problem, is the South not at an advantage with the two persons claiming victory for the Presidential seat, even if there are heated arguments?
But still, in the North, just one person, ATIKU claimed that he also won the 2023 Presidential election. The whole claims put together are now under political dispute going on in Nigeria.
Yet human beings can thwart the whole thing in a twinkle of an eye, and change it to another direction for some reason.
Let the South not be blind to see the secret danger behind the political golden opportunity, privilege and advantage given to them. The issues are like a booby trap under the heated disputes trailing everything.
Let them not fight and finish themselves before making use of the chances and the advantage. Let them not destroy themselves now and later lose the Presidential opportunity.
Let them not skip the point, especially the Presidential seat of power in Nigeria, by trying to use any political party platform in the dispute to destabilize the political unity of the South.
People are watching the drama like we do observe the game, going on in the political compound of Nigeria today.
It is quite good to advise the Politicians in the South to take it easy with themselves, marry unity, keep peace and maintain political attraction, without going against one another if the Presidential seat is needed over here from the North.
Politics is Politics but there are more invisible things that aren't known quickly about politics, in a situation where people easily miss the point of doing what they don't know, simply because of immediate golden advantage.
That is to quickly remind the Politicians of the South that the North is not silent for nothing. They are on the watch to know what next if there's a need for it.
The warning here is telling the South to be politically aware that if they try anything to sabotage and fight each other, the divine sum for their freedom from monopoly is gone to blazes and they may be thrown back to square one.
Nature may say it has been so long that the South were under pressure and trials, which didn't save any situation all the while with the Nigerian polity.
The natural cycle of every weather observation, or the climate change mantra says that all the seasons must go around the world, to know the gains from each time at any available occasion.
This time is for the politicians of the South in Nigeria to be very responsible, on how to help the Nigerian masses be secure and also be safe and sound in their own country.
It is time for Nigerians to live in their own homes quietly and plan for their future, not facing the ugly security challenges that have been tormenting the masses for a long time now.
Nigeria has not yet survived the economic collapse, when these daring stubborn security challenges came roaring like hungry lions, devouring the masses anyhow, anytime and anywhere.
The political top elites of the North have tried a lot to stop the scourge but couldn't succeed. It is still raging badly.
Let the South take it easy with themselves and mind how they try to expose one another to the dangers of disunity, discord and disgrace over political issues.
The reason is that failure to get their political heads alright, the North will take back their benevolent glory offered to the South this time around. It is not too late for them to do so.
*To God is the glory forever.*
