The Executive Chairman of Abakaliki LGA of Ebonyi State, Chief Stephen Ebere Nwogba has expressed confidence that the emergence of Chief Francis Ogbonna Nwifuru as the fourth Executive Governor of Ebonyi State would further expose his leadership prowess when he assumes his office.
Nwifuru has served as a three-tenure lawmaker representing the Izzi West Constituency in the Ebonyi State House of Assembly. He served as a two-term Speaker of the State House of Assembly without a break from 2015 to 2023, when he emerged as the fourth Ebonyi Governor-elect under the platform of the All Progressives Congress, APC during the March 18 polls.
Nwogba in his congratulatory message to the incoming Governor of the Ebonyi State, said, Ebonyians are indeed looking forward to tapping from Nwifuru's wealth of experience, saying that the citizens of the State are very hopeful of his pace to the State office will further unearth his high leadership prowess.
According to him, there is no doubt that the fate of Ebonyi State would be under the watch of Nwifuru; insisting that his emergence calls for celebration as it has justified the total will of Ebonyians and balanced the political equilibrium of the State.

He congratulated the outgoing Ebonyi Governor, Chief David Umahi whom he described as the father of modern Ebonyi State and grand master of infrastructure, stressing that posterity will forever smile at him for ensuring that equity, fairness and justice prevailed and were successfully entrenched.
Further, the Council Boss appreciated the State leadership and Executives of the APC, for choosing a female Deputy Governor-Elect in the fulfilment of 35% affirmative action of women in public governance.
He added: "Your Excellency, As you assume leadership I pray the good Lord to guide you to superhead the affairs of the state in God's abundant wisdom.
"The people of Ebonyi State should be prayerful for our Governor Rt. Hon, Francis Ogbonna Nwifuru and His Deputy Her Excellency Mrs, Patricia on Amaechi Obila for the delivery of dividend of democracy to Ebonyi people as a philanthropist, a true icon of human capital development and a visionary leader."
