A Chieftain of the All Progressives Congress, APC in Ebonyi, Hon Jeremiah Ikporo has commended the appointments so far made by the state Governor, Chief Francis Nwifuru after the assumption of his office.
Ikporo who is the Deputy Director of the 2023 APC Campaign Council in Mgbo Agbaja, Izzi LGA of the State, said in an interview with journalists yesterday that Governor Nwifuru had started well in fulfilling his campaign promises.
He noted that the governor assured in his manifesto of empowering the Ebonyi people, and described his appointments as a true interpretation of the vow.
The Deputy Director commended the calibre of people among the governor's appointees, saying they had done marvellously well in their respective fields and ventures.
He advised Governor Nwifuru to continue to embark on programs that would add value to humanity, because, in his words, the electorate in the state are carefully watching his administration.
While assuring the governor of his unwavering support, the APC chieftain urged the appointees and entire Ebonyians to be very supportive of the new government for the rapid growth and development of the State.
