Ebonyi State Governor, Chief Francis Nwifuru has saluted the new appointees by the Nigerian President, Bola Tinubu.
The appointees included the Speaker of the House of Representatives Rt. Hon. Femi Gbajabiamila, Sen. George Akume and Sen. Ibrahim Hadejia on their appointments as Chief of Staff, Secretary to the Government of the Federation and Deputy Chief of Staff respectively.
Governor Nwifuru sent his congratulatory message to the new federal appointees on behalf of the State government and the good people of Ebonyi State.
In a press release by the state governor's Chief Press Secretary, Monday Uzor, he expressed his sincere felicitation to the Speaker of the House of Representatives, Rt. Hon Femi Gbajabiamila on your appointment as Chief of Staff to the President.
In the same vein, he congratulated the former Governor of Benue State and immediate past Minister for Special Duties, Senator George Akume on his appointment as Secretary to the Government of the Federation, SGF by President Bola Tinubu.
Nwifuru added: "To my brother, the former Deputy Governor of Jigawa State, Senator Ibrahim Hadejia on your appointment as Deputy Chief of Staff, I congratulate you on your well-deserved appointment."
"The Governor noted that the appointments of the three key officers were received with great joy because of their sterling performances in their various positions of trust and expressed confidence that they will perform better in their new responsibilities.
"He commended Mr President for choosing them to contribute their wealth of experiences in nation-building and prayed to God to give them all the enablements to help Mr President achieve his campaign promises."
