The new Coordinator of the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) in Ebonyi State, Mrs Olayinka Diana Narsamu, has advised the exit Corps members to utilize their already acquired skills with courage while struggling for survival after the end of their service to the nation.
Mrs Narsamu gave this advice during the closing ceremony of the 2022 Batch B Stream 2 Corps members at the NYSC Secretariat, Abakaliki, the Ebonyi State capital.
The NYSC Coordinator expressed joy over the successful reports about the conduct of the outgoing Corps members during their service year in the state.
She, however, charged them to be optimistic in advancing their talents in pursuit of future endeavours.
She ushered blessings of God upon the outgoing corps members, wishing them favour as they leave the scheme to join the wider society for greater exploits.
Mrs Narsamu noted that nowadays, white-collar jobs are no longer invoked but urged the outgoing corps members to strive to master various areas of their disciplines and their already acquired skills anywhere they found themselves.
She said: "Always remember that the end of your one compulsory service to the nation doesn't implies you will no longer play a greater role in the nation building.
"We will always expect you in no distant future, to come back to us and seek our support as if you want to become president, Governor, Senator, House of Representatives and other enviable positions cutting across every sector in the country.
"I pray that favour will be portion as move to utilise your different gifts to develop yourself and the nation at large."
