It was a galore of compliments and jubilations as the immediate past Principal Secretary to the Ebonyi State governor, Chief Emmanuel Obasi commemorated his birthday anniversary this year.
This is because Chief Obasi was bathed with myriads of hearty felicitations from his wife, friends, associates and well-wishers following his birthday celebration.
Some of the goodwill messages which were forwarded to the NATIONAL PANEL yesterday by the admirers of Chief Obasi described him as a foundation and pillar of happiness.
According to his wife, Mrs Ann Ngozi Obasi, the presence of her husband (Chief Emmanuel Obasi) has brought so much joy to her heart and the family.
She said: "You're the foundation and pillar of my happiness, your presence has brought so much joy to my heart. Your love and unwavering support have made every day brighter and more meaningful.
"As we celebrate your special day, I am delighted by all the beautiful moments we've shared as my husband and the father to our beautiful kids.
May this year be filled with your dreams fulfilled, laughter and love beyond measure.
"May Almighty God bless you with the seven gifts of the Holy Spirit and I promise to stand by you through every step of our journey together.

Also an Ebonyi APC chieftain and social commentator, Mr Emeka Nwonu described Chief Emmanuel Obasi as a distinguished gentleman whose excellent leadership, ingenuity, pragmatism and sincerity are matchless.
Nwonu further described Obasi as one of the very few people today who play politics with integrity.
He added: "Chief Obasi is intelligent, astute, exceptionally humble and accommodating. Most importantly, he lives his life for others as he has a generous and philanthropic heart. Sir, I rejoice with you today on your birth anniversary. May God continue to keep you in good health."
On his part, the APC youth leader in Ohaozara Local Government Area of Ebonyi State, Emmanuel Okike, hailed
Chief Emmanuel Ikechukwu Obasi described him as not only a silent achiever but also someone he considers to be like a father to him.
"Your role as the immediate past Principal Secretary to the former Governor of Ebonyi State has left an indelible mark on the lives of many.
"Today, I want to express my heartfelt gratitude for the immense goodwill you have shown not only to me but also to every member of the Umuobuna and Uburu communities. Further, Apostle Michael Udeh, a former Technical Assistant to the former Governor David Umahi described the former Principal Secretary as a great lion in politics.
Udeh said: "All hail the lion! All hail our highly esteemed political leader, Chief Emmanuel I Obasi JP, the former Principal Secretary to the immediate past government of Ebonyi state, an illustrious son of Omataevi as he celebrates another birthday anniversary today 16/07/2023.
"Hon. Emma Obasi as he is fondly called is a leader with a large heart, a political Dynamo and a great orator. On several occasions, I have listened to him represent his Boss, His Excellency, the immediate past Governor of our dear state, Engr David Umahi. He brandished the Queen's language with uninhibited and tutored frequency to the point of holding his audience spellbound as English dictions flow spontaneously from within him without a paper in his hands. To be candid Hon Emma Obasi is gifted with a very fanciful oratory fecundity that is always admired by all including his detractors. Without mincing words, I make bold to say that this great Icon, Enigma and Colossus, is a wonderful gift to Umuobuna, Uburu and Ebonyi state and his objective political sagacity threatens his contemporaries. A teacher of excellence, a giver, a scientist, and an astute administrator, Chief Emmanuel Obasi is a goal-getter who can never be underrated by his fellow political gladiators.
"He has competently represented Umuobuna for the past eight years of the immediate past administration of His Excellency, Engr. Chief David Nweze Umahi, now Deputy Majority Leader of the Nigerian Senate, during this period, Hon. Emma's political scorecard was raised optimally as a result of his numerous achievements which is a topic for another day. Indeed Hon. Emma though a detailed politician who always believes in equity is also a dogged fighter who will never concede the rights of Umuobuna his immediate constituency for anything or to anybody.
"Umuobuna is so proud of you and all you have done, and are still doing to help her benefit more from the dividends of democracy. The good Lord will always remember all your labour of love and spare you and make you a bigger wonder to your generation.

Meanwhile, the former PS deeply appreciated those who celebrated him during his birthday celebration.
"I wish to thank you all so much for your kind words, prayers and good wishes to me on my birthday, especially Their Excellencies, my dear wife and children, relations and good friends who went extraordinary miles to express how they felt about my life already lived and their expectations for the new one that just started today.
"Some went to Motherless Babies Homes and the poor and needy on my behalf without demanding a kobo to do so. Some booked Masses while others prayed and escalated their wishes to many platforms. Mentioning each person's name will be a herculean task and I chose not to embark on it because the list will be inexhaustible.
"In all, I felt great happiness and joy and undeserving of such magnitude of love and solidarity when I saw your comments and actions of good will.
"I may not be able to pay you back individually, but I pray to God to bless you all with long and abundant life in the serenity of body and mind in Jesus' Name, Amen. Thank you once again."
