The gubernatorial candidate of the New Nigeria People's Party, NNPP, Uche Ben Odunzeh has vowed to resist manipulation in the forthcoming governorship election taking place in Imo State
Odunzeh made this known in a statement signed and made available to newsmen by his media officer Mr Joshua Elekwachi on Tuesday.
He declared the preparedness of his party to ensure that the November 11, 2023, gubernatorial election is peaceful, free and acceptable to the people.
The NNPP governorship candidate, Odunzeh said there will be a ban on hawking and a state of emergency on education in the state if the winner in the polls.
He noted that no child will be
allowed to hawk on the streets, and that there will be good access to quality education for children in the state.
According to him, when you empower a child through an education you have empowered a generation and the future of any state lies in the education of her citizens.
"We will education driven by skills development. The formal and informal education will be paid attention to so that nobody will be left behind"
