Governor Francis Nwifuru of Ebonyi State has made six fresh appointments as his Special Assistants and chairmen of boards in the state.
The governor's new appointees will be sworn in on Monday, 18th November 2024, at the conference room in his office, Ochoudo Centenary City, Abakaliki, the state capital.
This was contained in a press release made available to journalists by the Chief Press Secretary to the governor, Dr Monday Uzor on Sunday in Abakaliki, the state capital.
According to Uzor, Governor Nwifuru has approved the appointments of three new Special Assistants and three Chairmen of Boards in the state.
He said the governor appointed Mrs Rose Ezeadiwa, Mrs Adaeze Akochi and
Mrs Nnenna Chris Otuonye, as his Special Assistants, waiting for their office allotment after being sworn in on Monday.
The Chief Press Secretary further stated that Governor Nwifuru appointed Chief Hyacinth Ikpor, the immediate past Chairman of the Universal Basic Education Board in the state as the Chairman of Ebonyi State Pipe Production Company.
Also appointed according to Uzor, was Mrs Elizabeth Ogbaga, the immediate past State Commissioner for Culture and Tourism as the Chairman of Ebonyi State Health Insurance Agency, EBSHIA.
He added that Nwifuru equally appointed Mrs. Monica Okeagu Ogada as the Chairman of the Ebonyi State Hospital Management Board.
