In a historic gathering at Onueke, headquarters of Ezza South LGA, the people of Ezza South over the weekend launched a new socio-political group known as Francis Frontiers (F-F). The group aims to continue supporting and promoting the policies and achievements of Governor Francis Nwifuru, ensuring his smooth re-election in 2027.
Speaking at the event, Chief Celestine Ekechi Kojos, the Ezza South F-F Coordinator and Member of the Governing Council at the Federal College of Education, Keana, Nasarawa State, emphasized that the movement’s primary objective is to champion the Governor’s transformational leadership.
Chief Ekechi stated that Francis Frontiers is more than just a political group—it’s “a vision for a better Ezza land and Ebonyi State.” He praised the Governor’s notable achievements in infrastructural development, healthcare, educational reforms, and peace-building initiatives, including the creation of autonomous communities and the construction of over 20 kilometers of roads in crisis-affected areas like Ezilo.
The group unanimously endorsed Governor Nwifuru for a second tenure in 2027.
The Chairman of the occasion and Senator representing Ebonyi Central Senatorial District, Senator Kenneth Eze, echoed these sentiments and expressed confidence in the Governor’s re-election bid, describing him as a “performing governor who has earned the people’s trust.”
Chief Emmanuel Chukwu, a keynote speaker at the event, lauded Governor Nwifuru’s achievements, describing him as a leader who brings hope and progress even in challenging times. He called on citizens to support the movement to ensure the continuation of the Governor’s good work.
Chief Chris Usulor, the National Chairman of F-F, commended the Ezza South leadership of F-F for what he described as a “beautiful outing” and reaffirmed the group’s determination to mobilize total support for the Governor across the state and beyond.
The National Patron of F-F and CEO of Esthington Group, Engr Dr Darlington Ugota, represented by Barrister Ifeanyi Nworie, lauded the Governor’s leadership ingenuity, emphasizing that it deserves total support. Chief Ugota assured his unwavering commitment to supporting F-F’s activities, provided they remain focused on mobilizing support for the Governor.
Similarly, the Chief Executive Officer of Chubyzion Industries Ltd, Chief Chibuike Orogwu (Baby Oku), represented by Barrister David Elom, also pledged total support for the group’s efforts to galvanize backing for the Governor’s re-election.
On his part, the Ezza South Patron of F-F, Chief Ndubuisi Nwokwu (Ndumore), expressed gratitude for his appointment and pledged his full support to help the group achieve its goals.
Traditional ruler of Ameka Community and Secretary of the Ezza South Traditional Rulers Council, HRH Eze Martin Nweke, gave the group a royal blessing on behalf of the traditional rulers and assured them of their unwavering support.
The highlight of the event was the official unveiling of the F-F portrait in Ezza South, accompanied by financial donations from dignitaries, led by Senator Kenneth Chukwuemeka Eze.
