Association of Artisans in Nigeria, AAN Ebonyi State chapter under the leadership of Comrade Francis Nwebonyi, has expressed profound appreciation to Governor Francis Ogbonna Nwifuru for officially flagging off the construction of the Ebonyi Industrial Cluster in Izhiangbo, located in Ohaukwu Local Government Area of Ebonyi State.
Speaking on behalf of the artisans, Comrade Nwebonyi yesterday described the industrial initiative as a bold and visionary step toward repositioning Ebonyi State as a hub for industrialization and economic empowerment.
He highlighted the project’s immense potential in transforming the socio-economic landscape of the state through the development of human capital and the creation of sustainable employment opportunities.
"The launch of this industrial cluster marks a turning point for local artisans and skilled workers in Ebonyi.
"It will not only serve as a centre for innovation and enterprise but also help in nurturing local talents and expanding opportunities for youth and entrepreneurs in Ebonyi State," Nwebonyi stated.
Comrade Nwebonyi praised Governor Nwifuru's commitment to inclusive governance and economic growth, describing the industrial cluster as a cornerstone project in the governor’s administration.
He urged all stakeholders, including private investors and the local community, to support the initiative to ensure its success.
"The Ebonyi Industrial Cluster is expected to host multiple manufacturing and processing facilities, support skill acquisition programs, and create thousands of direct and indirect jobs, contributing significantly to the state's GDP and regional trade.
"As construction begins, hopes are high among Ebonyians that the initiative will stimulate innovation, reduce unemployment, and usher in a new era of prosperity for the state and beyond," Nwebonyi added.
