The Confederation of African Football (CAF) has officially conducted the group stage draw for the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON), with 24 national teams set to compete in Morocco from December 21, 2025, to January 18, 2026.
The tournament will open with host nation Morocco facing Comoros in Group A, and will conclude with the final scheduled for January 18, 2026.

The tournament will take place across multiple Moroccan cities, with preparations already underway to host the continent’s premier football competition. This will be the third time Morocco hosts the tournament, having last done so in 1988.
