Youths of Amagu Mgberemeze Ancient Kingdom in Ezza South Local Government Area of Ebonyi State on Saturday staged a massive solidarity road walk in honour of Senator Ken Eze, representing Ebonyi Central Senatorial District.
The walk, which drew hundreds of participants, began at Amagu Community, proceeded to Onueke Motor Park, and ended at the country home of the Senator. It was organized to appreciate what they described as the Senator’s impactful representation, quality service delivery, and numerous people-oriented projects.
Senator Eze, who also chairs the Senate Committee on Information and National Orientation, was lauded particularly for sponsoring the bill establishing the Federal Polytechnic of Vocational and ICT in Onueke—recently passed into law.
Addressing the crowd after the event, Senator Eze expressed gratitude for the show of support, assuring that he remains committed to delivering more dividends of democracy.
He urged the people to continue supporting the APC-led administration in Ebonyi State under Governor Francis Ogbonna Nwifuru, anchored on the People’s Charter of Needs.
He also announced an Overseas Master’s Degree Scholarship to Canada for a supporter and revealed that more beneficiaries would soon receive grants for small businesses and federal job placements.
As part of immediate empowerment, Senator Eze distributed three brand new Kinco CG125 motorcycles to Mr. Nwonu Chikwado from Ezza South, Hon. Innocent Anyigor from Ezza North, and Mr. Iburuoke Samuel from Ikwo.
Mrs. Ezinne Nwoke received a sewing machine, while three women from Ishielu LGA were given grinding machines.
The solidarity group also received financial support from the Senator and reaffirmed their unwavering loyalty and support to his leadership and the APC in Ebonyi State.
