Governor Francis Ogbonna Nwifuru of Ebonyi State has forwarded the names of nominees for the positions of Chairman and Members of the State Civil Service Commission and the Ebonyi State Independent Electoral Commission (EBSIEC) to the State House of Assembly for screening and possible confirmation.
The nominees include:

Mr. Patrick Enyi – Chairman, EBSIEC
Dr. Hyacinth Nwoba – Member, EBSIEC
Collins Agbo – Member, EBSIEC
Dr. Irem Collins Okechukwu – Member, EBSIEC
Stanley Odanwu – Member, EBSIEC
Ibiam Emmanuel – Member, EBSIEC
Nwaja Eric Uchenna – Member, EBSIEC
Dr. Fidelis Nwele Uguru – Secretary, EBSIEC
In a public announcement signed by the Public Relations Officer of the House, Egede Sylvester Ikechukwu, the Speaker, Rt. Hon. Chief Moses Ije Odunwa, directed the nominees to appear before the Assembly for screening on Monday, July 21, 2025, at 2:00 PM, at the Legislative Chambers.
Nominees are expected to submit 30 copies of their curriculum vitae, credentials, and tax clearance certificates to the office of the Clerk of the House on or before Monday morning, July 21, 2025.
