The Project Manager of Brass Engineering and Construction Ltd, Engr. Frank Ngwu, has hailed the Minister of Works, Senator David Umahi, describing him as a living institution of leadership and excellence.
In a statement celebrating Senator Umahi's 62nd birthday, Ngwu said working with the former Ebonyi State Governor is like "attending a university where leadership, innovation, and dedication are taught by example."
Ngwu praised Umahi's evolution from a successful engineer and entrepreneur to a transformative political figure, noting that his leadership style is defined by grit, vision, and action.
“Senator Umahi has earned greatness through resilience and an unwavering commitment to excellence. He is a strategic thinker and a selfless leader who puts service to nation above self-interest,” Ngwu stated.
He applauded Umahi’s contributions as Minister of Works, especially his role in ensuring equitable distribution of infrastructure projects across Nigeria’s six geopolitical zones.
He pointed to the 700km Calabar–Lagos Coastal Highway and the 1,068km Sokoto–Badagry Super Highway as flagship projects reflecting Umahi’s drive under President Bola Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda.
Ngwu also recalled Umahi’s legacy as Governor of Ebonyi State, where he transformed the state’s landscape with signature projects including concrete roads, the Ebonyi Shopping Mall, Ecumenical Centre, Margaret Umahi International Market, DUFUTH, DUFUHS, and over 16 flyovers.
"These projects were not just infrastructure; they were symbols of pride, progress, and possibility," Ngwu said.
He prayed for continued strength, wisdom, and good health for Senator Umahi, describing him as a man whose leadership has become a benchmark for public service in Nigeria.
