The African Democratic Congress (ADC) has announced the suspension of its much-anticipated unveiling ceremony in Plateau State, following directives from the party’s National Zonal Office in Abuja.
In a statement signed by the Plateau State Publicity Secretary, Silas Audu Wettok, the party said the decision was taken pending the outcome of a reconciliation process initiated to address leadership misunderstandings in both Plateau and Niger States.
According to the statement, a Reconciliation Committee, chaired by the National Vice Chairman (North Central), Senator Tunde Ogbeha, was recently constituted during a Zonal Critical Stakeholders Meeting in Abuja.
The committee has been given two weeks to resolve the issues.
The ADC leadership reiterated its commitment to unity, discipline, and progress within the party, emphasizing that internal harmony is key to building a strong political movement capable of transforming Nigeria’s political landscape.
Party members and the general public have been urged to comply with the directive and await further communication from the national leadership.
