The National President of Izzi Elites, Chief Ojimba C.F. Ojimba, has congratulated Nigerians on the nation’s 65th Independence Anniversary and the people of Ebonyi State on the 29th year of its creation, urging continued unity and patriotism in nation-building.
In a goodwill message, Chief Ojimba praised Ebonyi’s journey from years of agitation to its eventual creation in 1996, describing it as “a testament to persistence, unity, and determination.” He noted that the state has made remarkable progress in education, healthcare, infrastructure, and governance.
Commending Governor Francis Ogbonna Nwifuru for his “visionary and inclusive leadership,” Ojimba said the administration has brought “renewed hope, peace, and transformation” to Ebonyi people.
He urged Ebonyians to uphold values of hard work, solidarity, and peace, while rallying support for the government to consolidate development gains.
“Together, let us continue to support our leaders and pray for Nigeria and Ebonyi to thrive in peace, progress, and unity,” Ojimba stated.
