The Immediate Past Commissioner for Youth Development and Sports in Ebony state, Hon. Charles Akpu-enika has charged Prof. Charles Soludo, to see his re-election as the Anambra State Governor, as a call to re--dedicate himself to the cause of serving the state.
Akpu-Enika who is the President of the Eternal brothers Club, gave the urge while reacting to the governor's re-election victory at the state's Gubernatorial Election held last Saturday.
He noted that with the landslide victory, Anambra people have re-affirmed their love and support to Soludo which shows he performed well in his first tenure.
"When a leader perfprms creditably in office, the people usually endorses his or her continuation in office where applicable.
"The landslide nature of the victory in all the Local Government Areas of your state, shows that the victory is not only well deserved but a testament to the governor's strength at the grassroots.'
"Victory is always a sweet phenomenon and I urge the governor, his team and people of Anambra to savour it to the fullest."
Akpuenika noted that as an Anambra indigene, he has always been awed by Soludo's visionary leadership and intellectual sagacity.
"He has effectively brought these rare leadership traits to bear to make Anambra a model state in the country.
"The governor's infrastructural strides is second to none as physical and human development have reached all nooks and crannies of the state.
"I am proud to be an Anambrarian and I urge the people to continue supporting the governor to leverage on the achievements in his first tenure,"
He urged the governor to see the victory as a continuation of his developmental pact with the people and do all he can to take the state higher.
"I urge him to sustain the feat he recorded in security across the state as the people now feel secure in their land."
