In his New Year message to the people of Ebonyi State, particularly residents of Ebonyi/Ohaukwu Federal Constituency, Ogalegu described the New Year as a season of renewed hope and collective responsibility, calling on communities to build on the resilience and progress recorded in the past year.
Reflecting on 2025, the legal practitioner and community leader commended the perseverance and determination of the people despite prevailing socio-economic challenges.
He noted that strong family values, faith, and communal solidarity continue to define the character of Ebonyi State.
According to him, 2026 presents an opportunity for increased collaboration aimed at expanding opportunities for youths, strengthening education, empowering women, and promoting inclusive growth across communities.
He stressed that meaningful development can only be achieved through unity, diligence, and compassion.
“As a son of the soil and an advocate for progress, I remain committed to pursuing policies and ideas that uphold the dignity of our people and secure a prosperous future for the next generation,” Ogalegu said.
He also urged citizens to embrace the spirit of service and empathy, encouraging them to support one another and contribute positively to societal development.
Ogalegu expressed gratitude to the people of Amike Kingdom, his constituents, and supporters across the state for their continued trust and encouragement.
The philanthropist, who is also the Ikemba 1 of Ohaukwu, wished residents a peaceful and fulfilling New Year, expressing optimism that 2026 would usher in renewed hope, notable achievements, and lasting peace across Ebonyi State.
