---Applauds Gov. Nwifuru’s leadership ingenuity

Ahead of the forthcoming local government elections in Ebonyi State, an aspirant for the chairmanship position of Abakaliki Local Government Area under the platform of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Hon. Chidiebere Alo, has pledged to prioritize grassroots development, people-oriented leadership, and the sustenance of peace and progress in the council area.
Alo made the pledge while submitting his nomination form at the APC State Secretariat in Abakaliki, accompanied by party supporters, stakeholders, friends, and well-wishers.
Addressing party members, the chairmanship hopeful assured the people of Abakaliki of his readiness to run an inclusive, people-focused administration anchored on grassroots development, in line with the People’s Charter of Needs of Ebonyi State Governor, Rt. Hon. Francis Ogbonna Nwifuru.
He commended Governor Nwifuru for his leadership ingenuity and infrastructural strides, noting that the governor has transformed Ebonyi State beyond the expectations of many.
“I will work tirelessly to ensure grassroots development and people-oriented leadership in all parts of Abakaliki. Through inclusive governance, I will understand the challenges on ground and address them.
"Together, we will achieve results that will further promote the good name of His Excellency, Governor Francis Ogbonna Nwifuru,” he said.
Alo further pledged to sustain the prevailing peace in Abakaliki Local Government Area, stressing that the council has enjoyed stability under the current administration with the support of the state government.
In their separate remarks, a former chairman of Abakaliki LGA, Emmanuel Nwangele, and the incumbent chairman, Hon. Stephen Ebere Nwogba, expressed confidence in Hon. Chidiebere Alo’s leadership capacity, describing him as a peaceful, experienced administrator capable of sustaining unity and development in the area.
“He understands what we have been doing, and I am confident that he will continue in the same direction of uniting our people and ensuring oneness in Abakaliki. I feel encouraged that someone like him is coming on board,” they said.
