The Minister of Works, Senator David Umahi, has approved the appointment of Francis Nwaze as Senior Special Assistant on Media, with immediate effect.
Mr. Nwaze brings a wealth of experience in public communication and media relations to his new role.
He previously served as Special Assistant on Media (Spokesperson) to the Governor from 2019 to 2023. Prior to that, he was Technical Assistant on Media between 2017 and 2019 under Umahi during his tenure as Governor of Ebonyi State.
He holds a Diploma in Journalism, as well as Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees from Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu University and Ebonyi State University.
Announcing the appointment, the Chief of Staff said the Minister has strong confidence in Mr. Nwaze’s competence, dedication, and professionalism.
He expressed optimism that Nwaze will leverage his extensive experience to enhance public communication and advance the information and outreach objectives of the Federal Ministry of Works.
