The Minister of Works, Senator David Umahi, has signed the nomination form of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for a second term in office, urging Nigerians to sustain their support for the administration in the interest of continuity and national development.
The endorsement was contained in a statement issued by the Senior Special Assistant to the Minister on Media, Francis Nwaze, on Tuesday.
Umahi described the nomination form as a “victory form,” noting that it represents a collective commitment to stability and the consolidation of gains recorded under the current government.
Speaking after endorsing the President’s re-election bid, the Minister said the Tinubu administration has initiated critical infrastructure reforms, particularly in the road sector, which he said are already impacting economic growth across the country.
He maintained that ongoing road construction and rehabilitation projects nationwide demonstrate the administration’s resolve to deliver tangible results, adding that the progress achieved so far provides a solid foundation for sustained national transformation.
According to him, President Tinubu is well positioned to complete ongoing initiatives and further deepen development across key sectors of the economy.
Umahi stressed the importance of consistent leadership in achieving long-term national goals, warning that policy discontinuity could undermine developmental strides already recorded.
He, therefore, called on Nigerians to rally behind the President’s second term bid to ensure the continuity of reforms and infrastructural advancement.
