The member V of the Ebonyi State Internal Generated Revenue Board, Hon. Nwedu Abraham Nwedu, has congratulated the Governor of Ebonyi State, Rt. Hon. Builder Francis Ogbonna Nwifuru, on the successful celebration of his third anniversary in office and his victory at the recently concluded APC governorship primary election.
Nwedu, in a goodwill message made available to journalists, described Governor Nwifuru’s emergence at the primary election as a clear demonstration of the overwhelming confidence, acceptance, and trust the people of Ebonyi State repose in his administration.
The goodwill message was signed by Hon. Nwedu Abraham Nwedu, Member V, Ebonyi State Internal Generated Revenue Board.
He noted that the governor’s leadership style, anchored on the People’s Charter of Needs agenda, has continued to redefine governance and restore hope among the citizens through impactful and people-oriented policies.
According to him, the administration has within the last three years recorded remarkable achievements in critical sectors including infrastructure, healthcare, education, security, agriculture, youth empowerment, workers’ welfare, and economic development.
He particularly commended the governor for his intervention in addressing the challenge of multiple taxation, stressing that the policy has improved the ease of doing business, enhanced investors’ confidence, and boosted commercial activities across the state.
Nwedu further applauded the administration’s commitment to peace, unity, and social stability through reconciliatory leadership and inclusive governance, adding that such efforts have strengthened public confidence in government.
He also highlighted ongoing infrastructural projects across the state, including road construction, urban renewal programmes, housing initiatives, and improvements at the Chuba Okadigbo International Airport, noting that the projects have continued to position Ebonyi State among Nigeria’s emerging economic destinations.
The revenue board member equally praised the governor’s investments in education, especially the development of the ICT University, Oferekpe Agbaja, and the Aeronautics and Aerospace University, Onueke, as well as scholarship opportunities for Ebonyi students within and outside the country.
He further commended the wife of the governor, Chief Mrs. Mary-Maudlin Uzoamaka Nwifuru, for her humanitarian interventions through the BERWO Foundation, which he said have complemented the achievements of the present administration.
Hon. Nwedu expressed confidence that Governor Nwifuru’s second tenure bid ahead of the 2027 general elections would enjoy massive support from Ebonyians due to the administration’s achievements and widespread goodwill across the state.
He prayed God to continue granting the governor wisdom, strength, sound health, and divine guidance in the service of the state and humanity.
