The Ebonyi State House of Assembly candidate for Ohaukwu North under the platform of All Progressives Congress (APC), Mrs. Esther Agwu has promised to intervene and bring lasting peace among the residents of the Ezza-Efium war-torn community in her constituency.

Agwu made this known when she was officially adopted by the People of Okposhi Eshi Autonomous Community, Ndiagu Ubochi and Igweledeoha among others.
She said the people had suffered a lot from the negative influence of the crisis and therefore called on them to vote for her with high expectations for more dividends of Democracy.
The APC Candidate, however, said that her primary responsibility is to rise against the Ezza Effium crisis and also maintained peace and synergy among the two communities.
She expressed satisfaction with the people's turnout and support, pledging o work in collaboration with the stakeholders of the community to find a long-lasting solution towards solving various incidents surrounding them, adding that she is very ready to serve her people as the first female legislator in Ohaukwu North come 2023.
