Governor David Nweze Umahi of Ebonyi State on Monday swore in Mr Emmanuel Chukwuonu as his Special Assistant on Diaspora Matters.
Umahi's Special Assistant on Media and Strategy made this known in a statement after the State Executive Council meeting at the Ochuodo Centenary City Abakaliki, the State Capital.
According to the statement, Governor Umahi described the appointment as the last in the category of the State Executive Council until the end of his administration.
He charged the new Special Assistant to brace up to the service of the State.
Recall that the newly sworn-in Special Assistant hails from the Ezza South Local Government Area of the State.
