Names of purported All Progressives Congress (APC) candidates for the 2026 Local Government Area elections in Ebonyi State have surfaced on social media.
A post by Pacemedia TV listed potential candidates for key LGAs, including Ohaozara, Onicha, Ezza North, Ezza South, Ohaukwu, Afikpo, and Ikwo.
The alleged candidates include Osborn Nweze Umahi (Ohaozara), Ikechukwu Ogbuofia (Onicha), Barr. Friday Nwuhuo (Ezza North), Chinedu Mkpuma (Ezza South), Paul Ituma Eze (Ohaukwu), Engr. Timothy Nwachi (Afikpo), and Chidi Nwode Henry Carter (Ikwo).

Party sources said the LG primaries are scheduled for January 25, 2026, ahead of the August elections.
