The Governor of Ebonyi State, Francis Ogbonna Nwifuru, has approved fresh appointments into key positions in the state government.
This was disclosed in a statement issued on Thursday by the Chief Press Secretary to the Governor, Dr. Monday Uzor.
According to the statement, the newly appointed officials are Mrs. Nnenna Steve Egbo, appointed as Secretary of the Rural Electrification Board; Mrs. Lucy Ofefe and Hon. Vincent Awoke, appointed as Members of the Civil Service Commission; and Mrs. Ebere Ania, appointed as Special Assistant on Media.
The statement further noted that the appointees will be sworn in on Monday, January 26, 2026, at 12:00 noon, at the Conference Room of the Office of the Governor, Ochoudo Centenary City, Abakaliki.
