The member representing Ikwo/Ezza-South Federal Constituency, Rt Hon Chinedu Ogah, on Sunday hosted constituents at his country home in a well-attended Easter gathering that underscored his grassroots support base.
The event, held to mark the Easter celebration, drew party faithful, community leaders, youth groups and political stakeholders from across the constituency.
Speaking at the gathering, Ogah thanked the people for their turnout and continued support, describing Easter as a period of sacrifice, renewal and unity.
He urged eligible constituents to obtain their Permanent Voter Cards (PVCs) and register as members of the All Progressives Congress (APC), stressing the importance of civic participation in the democratic process.
The lawmaker also called for support for the administration of Ebonyi State Governor, Francis Ogbonna Nwifuru, noting the need for continuity in governance as the state looks toward the 2027 general elections.
The gathering was attended by polling unit coordinators, ward leaders, development centre officials, and members of various support groups, including Ikukuoma Boys and the City Boys Movement.
Ogah distributed food items and other support packages to attendees as part of the Easter celebration.
The event highlighted ongoing political engagement within the constituency and efforts to mobilize support ahead of future electoral activities in Ebonyi State.
